You can enter hindi meaning by clicking the buttons on the Hindi keyboard that displays Devanagari text. You can also use your computers keyboard instead of using the mouse. At present, phonetic romanized hindi, Remington and ISCII keyboards are supported. This facility is provided so that you can enter Hindi text without requiring special software.

There are few things to note:

• Hindi text entry will work properly only on Windows 2000 and on Windows XP.
• The system we use only supports Unicode Hindi. So, "matras" must be typed after the consonant. This is opposite of the way Hindi typewrites and non-Unicode fonts work. To type "li" you would first click "la" and then click on "i" matra.
