Example - With the density of population in Bengaluru, it will only take half the area of Karnataka for the entire population of India. And if every family in India lived on a 4000 square feet plot of land, it will only need five percent of India's land. So, it is more likely that the congestion in Bangalore and other cities is a result of poor urban planning and not of excessive population.

उदाहरण - जनसंख्या का जितना घनत्व बंगलुरु में है, अगर उतना घनत्व भारत की पूरी जनसंख्या का हो तो आधे कर्नाटक में सारे भारतीय रह सकते हैं। और अगर हर भारतीय परिवार चार हजार वर्गफीट की ज़मीन पर रहता हो, तो भी भारत का केवल पाँच प्रतिशत क्षेत्रफल ही लगेगा। इसलिए मुमकिन है कि बंगलुरु और अन्य शहरों की भीड़ जनसंख्या की अधिकता नहीं बल्कि नगर नियोजन के अभाव का नतीजा है।
