Just an announcement -

A new feature has just been enabled on this site where it is possible to search Hindi words in Romanized form.
For example, search for “raat” (रात) used to not give any results. But it will, now.
For any issues, please use the “Site Support” section of the site.

Thanks,
Admin.

This is what I think:

In Hindi प्रतिज्ञा is pronounced “pratigyaa”

The same word if it is mispelled as प्रतिग्या would still be “pratigyaa”

So to distinguish the character “ज्ञ”  from “ग्य” it is probably necessary to write “jnya” for “ज्ञ”, based on how “ज्ञ” is pronounced in the South Indian languages.
