I have watched Eknath Solkar in action and have seen some of his amazing catches at Braborne Stadium , Mumbai
Those were the days before the era of video cameras.
He was really great.
Another great cricketer was Bapu Nadkarni.
His bowling was difficult to hit for runs.
He would have been an ideal bowler for the last few overs of modern cricket , to control the flow of runs.

I have only read about Bapu Nadkarni & his maiden spells.
But Eknath Solkar practically convertd hard shots into impossible catches.
They really played for the country.
Not imagined that you are bitten by cricket bug.
