There is always difference between written & spoken language.In case of orders or requests,your toning matters much not the grammar. You can issue orders without knowing language.
I would like to share one practical joke based on pronunciation. Hope you will like it.
When english rule started ,many english officers could not speak regional language & spoke only broken hindi.In Pune,the collector faced a typical problem.Whenever he asked his servant to open or close the door,the servant could not understand.As a result, he did nothing ,making his boss angry.Fade up with this daily friction,collector called the head clerk & requested to find some solution.The Head clerk being fluent in english & hindi came up with following novel idea.He asked the collector to speak in english & the servant to listen in hindi.For collector ,he gave two sentences in english-1.There was a cold day.(for opening)2.There was a bunker.(for closing).When servant listened to these in hindi spoken with typical english accent,they sounded as दरवाजा खोल दे & दरवाजा बंद कर।Result-Problem resolved.
