Passive of Gerund

We often use a gerund after the verbs need, require and want.

In this case, the gerund has a passive sense.

Look at these example sentences. Notice that this construction can be in any tense:

I have three shirts that need washing. (need to be washed)

I sent it back to the shop because it needed fixing. (needed to be fixed)

This letter requires signing. (needs to be signed)

The contract will require signing tomorrow. (will need to be signed)

The house wants repainting. (needs to be repainted)

Your hair’s wanted cutting for weeks. (has needed to be cut)

1. She enjoys being photographed.
(Note: “enjoys” is the main verb. “Being photographed” is a gerund.)

2. He hates being photographed.
He doesn’t like to have his picture taken.

3. Her baby loves being held.

4. Being served quickly is important for customers in a restaurant.

I hope, this helps.

1. She enjoys being photographed.
—Vah photo liya jana enjoy karti hai.
(Matlab use photo khichvaana pasand hai.)

2. He hates being photographed.
—Vah photo khichvaane se nafrat karta hai.
(Matlab use pasand nahi hai ki uski photo kheechi jaye.)

3. Her baby loves being held.
—Uska bachcha (*god me) liya jana pasand karta hai.
*Not GOD, It’s lap.

Sakshi mam ji

1. She enjoys being photographed.

2. He hates being photographed.

3. Her baby loves being held.

If we use be instead of being example

She enjoys be photographed

He hates be photographed

Her baby loves be held

And if we use getting instead of being

She enjoys getting photographed

He hates getting photographed

Her baby loves getting held

Please translate in hindi of sentence having be and getting

Because , be + past participle ( passive of imperative) ,  getting + past participle and being +past participle.

Sabi format main work koi another person Marta hai hence how should I find out which one I should use

Thank u very much mam

It cause me lot of trouble during reading the Hindu newspaper and watching films

I will be very thankful of you if aap let me know the difference among them

She enjoys be photographed.
—[Incorrect]

—Be+ing form should be placed here to make it gerund. ‘be photograph’ doesn’t make any sense.

She enjoys getting photographed.
—However ‘getting photograped’ is okay, but still I would prefer ‘being photograped’.

Difference:
Using “to get” puts a more active spin on the result. While the use of “to be” creates a passive-voice construction, the use of “to get” creates an active-voice construction with an implied subject—that is, it emphasizes that someone specifically caused the action, rather than that it just happened on its own somehow.

I hope, this helps.
