@sakshi mam

Present perfect tense is used for recent action

Mam today I was watching film and I have a problem

Heroine TV band kar dete hai or hero turant puchta hai heroine se
Why did you switch it off??

2 hero and heroine bus main jaa rhe the suddenly accident ho jata hai dusari bus ka Jo unki bus ke aange chal rhi thi tab hero heroine se puchta hai
Did you see that??

My question is this both activities are recent then why past simple is being used??

Dear manishmodi,

It is not always necessary that you use “Present Perfect Tense”. Normally, whatever can be expressed can also be expressed using “Simple Past Tense”. (Moreover, Present Perfect is mostly used in British English. It’s not very much used in American English). When both the speaker and hearer know when that particular incident happened, there is no need to go for the Present Perfect; instead, you can express it with Simple Past because it is easier than the other.

Did you get me?
