MemberI’m afraid, “chadna(on stairs)” is not phrased in English “climb”. ‘Go up the stairs’ is the normally used phrase.

Yes, you are right.
New words have crept into the Oxford dictionary and “poppadom” is one of them I guess.
It is obviously a corruption of the Tamil / Malayaalam word pappadaam ( പപ്പഡാമ് பப்படாம்)
I wonder when “Idly” will be accepted.
Right now the English word is “Steamed Rice and Lentil dumplings”
