You are correct.
Thanks for noticing and for pointing it out.
Please be alert in future also and please feel free to point out my mistakes whenever you notice them.
I am requesting this particularly when I write in Hindi.
I am prone to mistakes particularly gender related mistakes.
Like all South Indians I have yet to get a grip on Kaa, and Kee and the gender of nouns in Hindi.
Nouns don’t have any gender in English and in my native language and that is the main reason for my difficulty when I write in Hindi.

I am correcting my translation below.

2) He wished to trap me.
2) He wanted to frame me.
2) He wished to get me involved in a frame-up
