New Memberप्रथम विश्वयुद्ध के दौरान अनेक महत्वपूर्ण घटनाएँ घटीं जिनका भारतीय राष्ट्रीय आंदोलन पर व्यापक प्रभाव पड़ा।
1)भारतीय नेताओं ने सरकार को युद्ध में स्वराज्य प्राप्ति की आशा मे सहयोग दिया,परंतु ऐसा नही हुआ।इससे राष्ट्रवादी गतिविधियाँ बढीं।
2)सरकार की गलत आर्थिक नीतियों पर व्यापक प्रतिक्रिया हुई।
3)सरकार को युद्ध में व्यस्त पाकर क्रांतिकारिओं ने अपनी गतिविधियाँ बढा दी।4)भारतीयों मे बढते असंतोष को नियंत्रित करने के लिए सरकार ने संवैधानिक सुधारों की घोषणा की।

1)Indian leaders, cooperated with the Government, in the hope of getting Independence, but that did not happen.
2)There were wide spread reactions to the wrong economic policies of the Government.
3)Seeing that the Government was preoccupied with the war, revolutionaries increased their activities.
4)To rein in the increasing discontent among Indians, the Government announced Constitutional reforms.
